Chapter nn, regarding proton popping during proton spin flips;
This phenomena can only occur in elements or isotopes of elements with an odd number of proton such that they are susceptible to nuclear magnetic resonance. The copper ions mentioned are not susceptible to this technique except for isotopes of copper with an odd number of protons.
